Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR), through its Faculty of Agriculture, has once again recorded a remarkable achievement in the implementation of the Yudisium for Period II of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. As a routine academic agenda, the yudisium serves as the official determination of graduation for students who have completed all academic requirements and are entitled to earn their bachelor’s degrees.

A total of 27 students from the Faculty of Agriculture were officially declared graduates during the yudisium held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Swiss-Belhotel Airport Kulon Progo. Of this number, 15 students were from the Agribusiness Study Program and 12 students from the Animal Husbandry Study Program.

The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Roisu Eny Mudawaroch, S.Pt., M.P., Head of the Agribusiness Study Program Isna Windani, S.P., M.Sc., Head of the Animal Husbandry Study Program Faruq Iskandar, S.Pt., M.Si., along with the academic community of the Faculty of Agriculture. The yudisium session was chaired by Istiko Agus Wicaksono, S.P., M.Sc.

In her remarks, the Dean expressed appreciation and congratulations to the graduates for their accomplishments. She emphasized that the yudisium represents formal academic recognition of students’ perseverance throughout their studies until they earn the degrees of Bachelor of Agriculture and Bachelor of Animal Husbandry. She also encouraged graduates to continue developing themselves, both in their professional careers and in further education.

“Yudisium, as a faculty-level academic activity, serves as an official recognition of students becoming graduates, whether as Bachelor of Agriculture or Bachelor of Animal Husbandry. After going through various challenges, today marks a moment of victory filled with happiness. We encourage you to keep learning and striving to reach greater heights, including in pursuing careers or improving performance for those already working,” she stated.

The top graduates of this period were Isti Dani Permatasari, S.P. from the Agribusiness Study Program with a GPA of 3.88, Syafira Fitria Putri, S.Pt. from the Animal Husbandry Study Program with a GPA of 3.83, and Akhir Wibowo, S.P. from the Agribusiness RPL Program with a GPA of 3.46.

Representing the Agribusiness graduates, Isti Dani Permatasari expressed her gratitude to the Agribusiness Study Program for its guidance and support throughout her academic journey.

“Thank you to the Agribusiness Study Program for being our compass when we lost direction. Thank you for seeing us not merely as names on an attendance list, but as seeds of hope nurtured with knowledge and patience,” she said.

Similarly, Syafira Fitria Putri, representing the Animal Husbandry graduates, shared that her experience in the program provided not only academic knowledge but also valuable life lessons on perseverance, resilience, and togetherness.

“I learned that not everything goes according to plan, and that is okay. I also learned that hard work does not always show immediate results, but it is never in vain. Studying alongside friends who share the same struggles is one of the most valuable experiences during my college years,” she explained.

The Faculty of Agriculture UMPWR continues to demonstrate its commitment to producing competent and competitive graduates who are ready to contribute to the development of the agricultural and livestock sectors. In this period, 14.8% of graduates achieved cum laude honors, while 85.2% earned “very satisfactory” distinctions, reflecting strong academic performance and competitiveness.

The yudisium concluded with a group photo session and congratulatory remarks from faculty leaders and lecturers. The graduates appeared enthusiastic as they look forward to the future, carrying the good name of their alma mater.

All graduates are scheduled to participate in the upcoming graduation ceremony, which will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Kasman Singodimedjo Auditorium, UMPWR.
