Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) — The Student Cooperative Unit Suka Maju (KOPMA SUKMA) and the Entrepreneurship Division continued their entrepreneurial training program through the Entrepreneurship Class Batch 2, held on Saturday, 22 November 2025, at the UPT PLUT Purworejo Building. Carrying the theme “Creativity, Innovation, and the Spirit of Cooperation,” the event reflects UMPWR’s commitment to cultivating a young generation that is literate in cooperative principles and ready to compete in the business world.
Entrepreneurship Class Batch 2 serves as a follow-up to the previous training program organized by KOPMA SUKMA and the Entrepreneurship Division. In this second edition, the focus was centered on cooperative financial management, particularly in areas of liquidity and effective, healthy, and sustainable financial planning.
The event was attended by the Supervisory Board of KOPMA SUKMA and the Entrepreneurship Division, the organizing committee, members of KOPMA SUKMA and Entrepreneurship, as well as UMPWR students.
The session featured Fitria Danarti, S.E., Financing Consultant at UPT PLUT Purworejo, who delivered material on “Cooperative Liquidity and Financial Planning.” In her presentation, she emphasized the importance of maintaining cash-flow stability, managing income and expenditure in a measurable manner, and designing financial strategies that support a cooperative’s healthy and sustainable growth.
Through this advanced training, participants gained practical insights on maintaining liquidity, designing efficient cooperative financial systems, and understanding how financial management serves as a key foundation for cooperative sustainability.
One participant shared a positive impression, stating, “It wasn’t just theory; we got a real picture of how to manage cooperative finances. This is an important provision for me as a future entrepreneur.”
With the successful implementation of Entrepreneurship Class Batch 2, UMPWR hopes to cultivate more students who are innovative, productive, financially competent in cooperative management, and ready to develop their own businesses independently and sustainably.
