In his speech, UMPWR Rector, Assoc. The Rector also said that the graduates have a moral and intellectual responsibility to become cadres of the people, cadres of the nation, and agents of change.

“Be individuals who not only seek employment, but also create opportunities. Be a generation that carries the values of progressive Islam: loving knowledge, upholding good character, and spreading benefits to others,” he explained.

Furthermore, the Rector advised the graduates to always uphold the good name of their alma mater and the Muhammadiyah association. In addition, the Rector also announced that there would be a 50% tuition discount for graduates who wish to pursue further studies at UMPWR.
