Muhammadiyah University of Purworejo (UMPWR) once again celebrated its 61st anniversary by holding the “Inspiring Product Fest” MSME Expo, which officially opened on Monday, 22 September 2025. The event was officially opened by the Chairman of the UMPWR Daily Advisory Board (BPH), Drs. H. Muh. Hamidi, M.Pd., together with the Chairman of the 61st Anniversary Committee, Dr. Sapardiyono, M.H.
Held at the UMPWR East Campus, the expo ran for three days, from 22 to 24 September 2025, from 09:00 to 21:00 WIB. A total of 31 SMEs participated in the bazaar, consisting of 21 general SMEs and 10 student SMEs.
The Chair of the Anniversary Committee, Dr. Sapardiyono, M.H., said in his speech that this bazaar is an activity that represents the collaboration between UMPWR and the community, and UMPWR's dedication to the community. This activity also represents UMPWR's support for MSMEs in Purworejo Regency.
The Head of the Board of Trustees, Drs. H. Muh. Hamidi, M.Pd., said that this bazaar will provide a platform for promotion, enhance the competitiveness of SMEs, and encourage the community to love local products.
This event serves as both an inspiration and a platform for promoting local flagship products. With the theme “Inspiring Product Fest”, UMPWR aims to foster entrepreneurial spirit, encourage student creativity, and support the growth of the local economy. (akb/KP).
