Muhammadiyah University of Purworejo (UMPWR) – The Quality Assurance Agency (LPM) held a Management Review Meeting (RTM) on Wednesday, 27 August 2025. Held in the Seminar Room of the East Campus Rectorate Building at UMPWR, this MRM serves as a follow-up to the previously conducted Internal Quality Audit (IQA) for both academic and non-academic areas.
The event was attended by the Chair of the Board of Trustees (BPH), Vice Rector, Heads of Institutions, Deans, Programme Coordinators, and relevant unit leaders. The MRM aimed to evaluate the audit results, identify quality standards achieved, and formulate continuous improvement measures to enhance the quality of education, research, community service, and non-academic services at UMPWR in order to achieve Excellent Accreditation for UMPWR.
The Head of LPM UMPWR, Prof. Dr. Suyitno, M.Pd., said that the implementation of RTM is a strategic forum in ensuring that the internal quality assurance system runs effectively and sustainably. "The internal quality audit that we have carried out is not just a formality, but a systematic effort to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement. This RTM serves as a platform for formulating policies and concrete follow-up actions to enhance the quality of UMPWR," he explained.
The Head of the Daily Advisory Board (BPH) of UMPWR, Drs. Muh. Hamidi, M.Pd., also emphasised the importance of synergy among all members of the academic community. "Quality is the soul of a higher education institution. Through comprehensive evaluation, we hope that UMPWR will be better prepared to face global challenges and able to provide the best educational services for students and the community, as well as achieve the target of institutional higher education accreditation (AIPT) with an Excellent rating," he asserted.
Through this RTM, it is hoped that concrete recommendations for improvement and development strategies will emerge, both at the academic and non-academic levels, so that UMPWR will be better prepared for the Excellent Institution accreditation in 2026.
