Muhammadiyah University of Purworejo (UMPWR) – Dr. R. Wakhid Akhdinirwanto, M.Si., a lecturer in the Physics Education Program, had the opportunity to serve as a speaker at the P8 (Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students) and Project-Based Learning (PJBL) Cipta Karya Anak Bangsa event, which focused on the theme “Renewable Energy.”
The event, held at SMAN 1 Padamara in Purbalingga Regency, was attended by the school principal, physics teachers, and all 10th-grade students. The focus of the activity was to foster creativity, innovation, and students' understanding of the use of renewable energy as an environmentally friendly solution for the future.
During the event, Dr. R. Wakhid presented material on the basic concepts of renewable energy, the development of green energy technology, and its applications in everyday life, including solar panels. Solar panels are a technology that utilises solar energy to generate electricity directly.
This activity not only enriches students' knowledge but also supports the implementation of deep learning through character development, 21st-century skills, and awareness of environmental issues. The presence of UMPWR lecturers as speakers is expected to motivate students to continue creating and innovating in developing real solutions for energy sustainability in Indonesia. (akb/KP)
