Muhammadiyah University of Purworejo (UMPWR) – through its Quality Assurance Agency (LPM) – is conducting an Academic Internal Quality Audit (AMI) based on MoQASS (My Online Quality Assurance Support System) for the 2024/2025 academic year. The activity was officially opened by the Rector of UMPWR, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teguh Wibowo, M.Pd., who in his speech stated that internal quality audits are a strategic step in maintaining and improving academic quality at UMPWR.
“Through this AMI, we are conducting a comprehensive evaluation to drive continuous improvement in order to enhance academic quality and support the university’s accreditation, which we aim to achieve at the ‘Excellent’ level,” said the Rector.
The Chair of the UMPWR LPM, Prof. Dr. Suyitno, M.Pd., also gave a speech, stating that AMI is an annual routine agenda with the aim of assessing the suitability and unsuitability of the existing quality system at UMPWR. Prof. Suyitno explained that AMI is part of the preparation for external audits or accreditation. Therefore, MoQASS also stays updated on any new accreditation instruments. Furthermore, he mentioned that a non-academic AMI will also be conducted next week.
