Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) - invites students to join the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) Impact Internship Programme. The programme is designed to provide real-world experience and career opportunities for UMPWR students. Kemdiktisaintek has launched the 2025 Impact Internship Programme to mould students into work-ready agents of change. Minister Brian Yuliarto emphasised that the programme is more than just an internship. Students will be directly involved in the world of work and build professional networks.
Kemdiktisaintek opened registration for the Impact Internship programme from 16 June to 11 July 2025. Internship with Impact is a follow-up programme to Internship Merdeka, which will run from 4 August - December 2025, with participants receiving IDR 2.8 million per month in living expenses and 20 credits conversion after completing the internship.
The terms and conditions for participating in this impact internship are:
A. Student Requirements for the 2025 Impact Internship
1. Indonesian citizen (WNI)
2. Active students who have not graduated from D2, D3, D4, S1 from accredited study programmes at all PTN and PTS within the Ministry of Education and Science.
3. At the time of registration:
a. Students of D2, D3, and D4 programmes at least in semester 2
b. Undergraduate students at least 4th semester
4. Get recommendations from universities including the Head of Study Programme (Kaprodi) or department-level leaders.
5. Willing to follow, implement, and complete the Impact Internship programme until its completion.
B. Document Requirements for the 2025 Impact Internship
1. Identity Card (KTP) and/or domicile letter
2. Letter of recommendation from the Head of Study Programme or leader through the platform (not a printed document)
3. Student's Statement of Absolute Responsibility (SPTJM) through the platform
4. Have a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) accepted at the partner company 4.
C. How to Register for an Impactful Internship 2025
1. Registration for the 2025 Impact Internship is done online at https://simbelmawa.kemdikbud.go.id/magang/register
2. After having an account, participants must first get approval from the study programme and college leadership to be able to continue registration to the next stage, namely choosing the internship of interest.
