UKM Saintek Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) commemorated World Environment Day by pouring Eco Enzyme in Embung Megulung Lor Pituruh and Kedung Putri Loano Purworejo.
The event lasted for 2 days. The first pouring was at Megulung Lor embung on June 8, 2025. The second pouring at Kedung Putri dam on June 15, 2025.
The ECO Enzyme pouring also collaborates with the Eco Enzyme Nusantara Purworejo community, Megulung Lor village government, Megulung Kidul village, Pituruh sub-district, and Sejiwan village government, Loano sub-district.
The amount of ECO Enzyme poured in the two locations was 500 liters. The benefits of pouring ECO Enzyme are to break down organic waste in the river, reduce unpleasant odors, improve water clarity, and help restore polluted water ecosystems.
