University of Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) - actively participated in the Regional / Cross Regional Apparatus Forum activities in the framework of the preparation of the Regional Apparatus Strategic Plan of Purworejo Regency 2025-2029 organised by Bapperida Purworejo Regency. This activity was held on Thursday, 24 April 2025 in the Meeting Room of Bapperida Purworejo Regency and was attended by a lecturer of the Agribusiness Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture UMPWR, Isna Windani, S.P., M.Sc., who in this case was present to represent the Rector of UMPWR Assoc. Prof. Dr Teguh Wibowo, M.Pd.
This activity raised the theme of Increasing Productivity and Economic Inclusiveness through the Participation and Contribution of Local Economic Actors Supporting Food Security’, with the aim of realising “Competitive, Prosperous, Religious and Innovative Purworejo (Purworejo Berseri)”. In addition to UMPWR, this activity was also attended by 46 participants consisting of Assistant Government Welfare and Regional Secretariat of Purworejo Regency, Expert Staff for Economics and Development, 10 Heads of Departments in Purworejo Regency along with Heads, Head of BPS, Head of UMKM Forum, Director of BUMD, as well as RPJMD Drafting Team of Purworejo Regency Year 2025-2029.
The activity was first opened by the Chairman of the DPRD Purworejo Regency and continued with the first presentation of material by the Head of Bapperida Kab. Purworejo, Drs. Hery Raharjo, M.Si. Then followed by exposure by 10 OPD in Purworejo District, each 10 minutes. then continued with a constructive discussion. To realise the Mission of Purworejo District Year 2025-2029, there are 5 missions and themes. In this activity, it is the fourth mission, by raising the strategic issue of Purworejo Regency development, namely Productivity and Inclusiveness of the economy. The presentation of strategic issues related to the Resntra theme, namely regional potential, problems, dynamic environmental issues and regional strategic issues. (akb/KP-iw).
