Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) - Agribusiness Study Programme, Faculty of Agriculture, sent 37 students to take part in Merdeka Belajar - Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) internship activities for the 2024/2025 Academic Year. This deployment was carried out on Monday, 14 April 2025 and was attended by lecturers and staff of the Agribusiness Study Program. A total of five agencies are the destinations for students to carry out MBKM internships which will last for 4 months.
This MBKM internship activity is off-campus learning, just like PKL (Field Work Practice). The implementation of the MBKM internship in Agribusiness Study Program is carried out in 5 places, namely P4S Citra Muda SOM Semarang, UGM Agrotechnology Innovation Centre (PIAT), P4S Wanadelima Orchard Kulonprogo, PT Tambi Wonosobo Tea Plantation, and Agricultural Training Center (Bapeltan) Soropadan, Temanggung, Central Java.
The implementation of the MBKM internship is useful for increasing information, knowledge, knowledge and skills of students as well as to expand the network of the world of work. (akb/KP).
