Dr. Riawan also advised the graduates to always maintain the good name of the alma mater and hoped to wait for good news on the success of the alumni.

Vice Rector 1 of UMPWR Dr. Dwi Irawati, M.Si., in her speech explained that graduation is different from graduation although the process is similar. Judicium is the determination of graduation and assessment and determination of graduation status by the faculty or university that has gone through all academic processes.

“This means that you have gone through everything and then declared graduated with the status you obtained. Then move on to graduation, which is the determination and inauguration of the degree. So it is somewhat different in substance even though the process is similar,” she explained.

She hopes that this process is not only ceremonial but there is learning that can be obtained by both judges and UMPWR.

“After graduating from here you must be independent, take the lessons given by the lecturers, practice the knowledge and contribute to society. As well as being responsible for maintaining the good name of the alma mater and continuing to learn. Hopefully in the future you will be successful in real life,” she said.

The event continued with Graduate Strengthening and Motivation by Prof. Dr. Siska Desy Fatmaryanti, M.Si. who delivered material related to lifelong learner teachers who inspire through exemplary. One of the discussions was about the role of today's teachers and the challenges of future teachers.

Prof. Siska explained the five roles of today's teachers in preparing students to have 21st century skills, namely as Teachers, Catalysts, Connectors, Facilitators, and Goal Keepers.

“As a teacher, teachers are able to convey subjects so that students understand and understand them. As a catalyst, teachers are able to identify, explore, and optimize the potential of students. As a connector, teachers are able to connect students with diverse learning resources both inside and outside the school. As a Facilitator, the teacher is able to assist students in the learning process, become a discussion partner and exchange ideas. As a gate keeper, teachers help students to be able to filter negative information,” she explained.
