Purworejo, March 17, 2025 - Halal Center of Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) has organized Halal Product Process Assistance Training (P3H) online through the Learning Management System (LMS) on the 14th to March 16, 2025. The event was attended by 77 participants from various backgrounds, consisting of academics, industry practitioners, and the general public who are interested in the field of halal product assurance.
Training This training was opened with remarks from the Head of the Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH), Dr. Ahmad. Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH), Dr. Ahmad Haikal Hassan, who highlighted the importance of regulations and policies in guaranteeing halal products. regulations and policies in ensuring product halalness. He hopes that this training can be in line with the government's vision to strengthen the halal ecosystem in Indonesia.
The training materials presented include policies and regulations on halal product assurance, halal haram culinary fiqh of food and beverages, halal product assistance and assistance, knowledge of ingredients and practice filling in the ingredient list, halal product processes, verification validation and practice filling in the SJPH manual, digitization and halal registration.
This training received a positive response from the participants, one of whom was Nurul Hidayati who claimed to have gained new insights and practical skills that could be directly applied in their respective fields.
“This training is very useful, especially in understanding the halal certification process which is increasingly important in the era of the rapidly growing halal industry,” she said.
The Chairperson of the UMPWR Halal Center P3H Committee, Dr. Hardin, S.P., M.M. expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm of the participants in participating in the halal product companion training in supporting the halal industry in Indonesia.
