University of Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) - every Friday during the month of Ramadan 1446 H / 2025 M, recitation is held for all Lecturers and Education Personnel. Located in East Campus Seminar Room of the Rectorate Building, the recitation is held for one hour starting at 08.00 am. until 09.00 WIB.
On Friday recitation Ramadan, 7 March 2025, was presented by the speaker Tri Ermayani, M.Ag., who who is an LP3AK lecturer as well as having served as Vice Rector IV for Cooperation and AIK for the 2019 term. Cooperation and AIK for the term of office 2019 - 2023. Guided by moderator Diki Anwarsani, S.Pd., Tri Ermayani, M.Ag., delivered material about the Great Rewarding Practices in Ramadan.
Tri Ermayani, M.Ag., explained that there are at least six practices that have great rewards in the month of Ramadan, the first is dhikr anywhere and anytime. One of the dhikr that is light to read but heavy on the scales is ‘Subhanallah wabihamdihi subhanallahil adzim’ which means ‘Glory to Allah with all praise to Him, Glory to Allah the Most Great’.
The second practice is to always recite the basmalah in every activity. The benefits of reciting the basmalah are blessings, mercy, and avoidance of the devil and Satan (QS. Az-Zukhruf: 36). The third is always inviting and praying for others in goodness.
‘Praying for others in goodness then we will get the same reward as the person who does the goodness,’ he explained.
The fourth is to always read the Ayat Kursy after prayer, and the fifth is to give alms regularly, and the last is to maintain noble character. (akb / KP).
