Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) - The Student Activity Unit of the Surya Student Information and Counselling Centre (UKM PIK-Ma Surya) held an INI GENTING Seminar (GenRe Implementation to Prevent Stunting) with the theme ‘Glow Up Generation Z: Nutritional Health for Future Families’ on Thursday, 20 February 2025. The seminar, which was held in the East Campus Seminar Room of the UMPWR Rectorate Building, aimed to educate students on the importance of preparing healthy generations and families by preventing stunting early on.
Approximately 50 students consisting of members of PIK-Ma Surya and delegates of each HIMA/UKM/ORTOM at UMPWR became participants in this Seminar. The speakers were the 2024/2025 UMPWR GenRe (Generasi Berencana) Ambassadors, namely Ailsa Sofia and Ahmad Mabrur. The GenRe Ambassador started the material with Games related to ‘how familiar Gen Z is with themselves’ then provided interactive material related to stunting prevention and how to maintain nutritional health for future families.
Peserta terlihat sangat antusias dengan ada seminar ini, dengan edukasi yang diberikan oleh Duta GenRe UMPWR bisa menambah semangat semangat dan motivasi serta pengetahuan tentang remaja dan stunting.
"Sebagai generasi yang berencana sudah semestinya kita dapat mengamati untuk setelah itu bertindak terkait apa-apa saja yang perlu kita lakukan untuk mempersiapkan masa depan. Menjaga kesehatan gizi adalah salah satu langkah untuk membentuk keluarga yang gemilang dan mencegah anak terlahir stunting”, jelas Ailsa Sofia. (Akb/KP).
