Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) - The Master's Degree Programme in English Language Education graduated 2 students in the batch of 2023. This graduation was obtained after the two students underwent a thesis trial on Friday, 14 February 2025 in Room A2.2.8 UMPWR Central Campus.
The Head of the Master's Study Programme (S2) PBI Dr. Sudar, M.Pd., explained that this was the first graduation for students of the second batch or 2023. The two students who became the first graduates in this second batch were Evi Kasdianti and Vita Rahayu Setiyawati.
Evi Kasdianti (42) completed her master's degree in PBI after completing her thesis entitled ‘Improving Learners’ Speaking Skill Through Video-Assisted Project Based Learning in Madrasah Aliyah Wathoniyah Islamiyah’. Meanwhile, Vita Rahayu Setiyawati (34) wrote a thesis entitled ‘Improving Student's Reading Skill and Self Efficacy Through Technology Supported Suggestopedia Method of SMP Muhammadiyah Kutoarjo in the Academic Year of 2024/2025’.
Evi Kasdianti and Vita Rahayu Setiyawati are very grateful to be able to complete their master's studies in less than 1.5 years. Moreover, currently the PBI UMPWR Master Study Programme has been accredited with GOOD accreditation ONCE.
