Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) - strengthened its commitment to cooperation with Universitas PGRI Semarang (UPGRIS) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the Faculty of Agriculture UMPWR and the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics (FTI), UPGRIS. The commitment aims to expand and strengthen collaboration in various fields, including research, community service, publication of works and development of international programs.
Dean of FTI, UPGRIS Ibnu T. Husodo, S.T., M.T said that to expand the campus network, it is necessary to work together and now is the time to collaborate not just compete. Continued by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Roisu E. Mudawaroch, S.Pt., M.P that this collaboration will continue between the UMPWR Animal Husbandry Study Program and the Food Technology Study Program (Tekpang), UPGRIS. Faruq Iskandar, S.Pt., M.Si as the Head of the Animal Husbandry Study Program also added that in the future we will continue to coordinate to carry out various collaborations because Tekpang and Animal Husbandry, especially livestock product processing, are interrelated.
In addition to the MoU and MoA signing agenda, there were also Benchmarking activities between university cooperation managers. Head of the Foreign Cooperation Division, UPGRIS Mega Novita, S.Si., M.Si., M.Nat.Sc., Ph.D explained various performance achievements of international activities that have been achieved by KUI UPGRIS carried out by lecturers and students in international mobility that has been carried out including various awards that have been achieved by UPGRIS.
Dr. Jeki Wibawanti said that this visit was a strategic momentum to share experiences and insights, especially in international mobility programs. In addition, this activity has also been implemented in joint publication activities in Scopus International Journals. Dr. Rizky Muliani, M.Si as the Secretary of the Tepang Study Program also added that in the future there will be alternating teaching collaborations.
