UMPWR's Psychology Study Program Signs Cooperation Agreements with Various Partners

Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) - The Psychology Study Program of the Faculty of Social Sciences (FIS) signed a cooperation agreement with a number of strategic partners on Friday, 31 January 2025. The activity, which was held in the Main Meeting Room of the UMPWR Rectorate, not only marked new partnerships, but also extended cooperation with several parties who had long collaborated.

This activity is an important momentum for FIS and Psychology Study Programme in strengthening academic and professional synergies. In addition to signing the agreement, this activity is also used as an evaluation and monitoring session for the ongoing cooperation, including with the Kutoarjo Special Development Institute for Children (LPKA). This evaluation aims to ensure the effectiveness and improve the quality of future cooperation.

- SDIT Salsabila

- SD Muhammadiyah Kutoarjo

 

-TK Trajumas

- KB Fun Islamic School

- National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Magelang

- RSU Aisyiyah

- Purworejo's Human Resource Development and Staffing Agency (BKPSDM).


This collaboration is expected to benefit students in academic development and field practice. Through this partnership, UMPWR Psychology students will have the opportunity to undergo internship programmes at various partner institutions, which will help them in developing practical skills and professional experience.

In addition to the internship programme, this partnership also covers various other aspects, such as opportunities for students to conduct research at partner institutions. The collaborating partners are also very open to supporting student research, thus providing wider access to relevant data and resources. With this collaboration, Psychology students have wider opportunities to be involved in various programmes that support their knowledge and skills.

Going forward, UMPWR's Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology Study Programme are committed to continuing to expand the partnership network to improve the quality of education and real contribution to society.
