Tuesday, January 22, 2025 KKN Group PN.17 Kesidan Village Muhammadiyah Purworejo University in collaboration with Lazismu Purworejo held social action activities for Al Qur'an and Iq'ro at the Al Ikhlas Mosque in Kesidan Village as an effort to facilitate Al Quran and Iq'ro learning activities for the community in Kesidan Village. This activity was attended by the Takmir of Al Ikhlas Mosque, Kesidan Village Officials, Lazismu Purworejo Manager and Team as well as KKN Group PN.17 students who KKN in Kesidan Village.
Lazismu is a national-level zakat institution that serves in community empowerment through productive utilization of zakat funds, infaq, waqf and other generous funds from individuals, institutions, companies and other agencies. Lazismu has 6 Program Pillars, namely Education, this program is an effort to improve the quality of human resources by running various programs in the field of education in the form of fulfilling educational facilities and costs. Second, Health, a Lazismu program that focuses on fulfilling the rights of mustahik rights to get a quality life through health services or prokes. Third, Economy, this program is to improve the welfare of beneficiaries of zakat funds and other donations with empowerment patterns and entrepreneurial training training. Fourth, Humanity, handling social problems that arise due to external excesses on the lives of mustahik, such as disaster relief, elderly assistance and caricative activities. Fifth, Social Da'wah, a pillar that serves to strengthen the spiritual side and fulfill the needs for da'wah activities with the aim of independence for da'I and da'wah institutions. Sixth, Environment, Lazismu's contribution to improving the quality of the environment for community life and a better ecosystem so that it can maintain the balance of nature.
In the distribution of Al Quran and Iqro by Lazismu Purworejo from Takmir Masjid Al Ikhlas Kesidan Village, thank you very much for helping to provide facilities in the form of Al Quran and Iqro at the Al Ikhlas Mosque, with the hope that this can be a field of charity for donors, especially in fostering trust in Lazismu Purworejo to continue to give charity and preach in communities in need.
The representative of the PN.17 KKN group, Wisnu Febriyan, expressed his gratitude to Lazismu Purworejo with the hope that Lazismu Purworejo can become an institution that continues to stand as a problem-solving institution that overcomes various problems in society, including those in need.
From Abu Hurairah radiyallahu 'anhu he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said “If a person dies, then his deeds are cut off except for three things, namely: SEDEKAH JARIYAH, knowledge that is utilized or the prayer of a righteous child” (HR Muslim no 1631).
