Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) - Faculty of Agriculture's Animal Husbandry Study Programme conducted the withdrawal of Student Exchange Programme from Universtas Muhammadiyah Cirebon (UMC) and Universitas Wijayakusuma Puwokerto (UNWIKU) on Wednesday and Thursday, 15 and 16 January 2025. This withdrawal was carried out in connection with the student exchange programme where several students from UMC and UNWIKU studied at the UMPWR Animal Science Study Programme for one full semester in the 2024/2025 Academic Year.
The withdrawal was held in the UMPWR Animal Husbandry Study Programme Room which was attended by Mus Nilamcaya (UMC), Ir. Supranoto, MP (Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Unwiku) Dr. Roisu Eny M. M.P., Faruq Iskandar, S.Pt., M. Si., as well as all lecturers of the Animal Husbandry Study Programme and exchange students. On this occasion, a discussion was also held on the sustainability of the cooperation programme between UMPWR and UMC and UNWIKU, including the UMPWR Animal Husbandry Study Program sending guest lecturer Dr. Jeki Mediantari W.W. S.Pt., M.Eng to give a public lecture on 17 January 2025 at UMC. In addition, UMC and UNWIKU students also want to continue their PKL in Kaligesing, Purworejo Regency.
Head of the UMPWR Animal Husbandry Study Programme Faruq Iskandar, S.Pt., M. Si, said that the UMPWR Animal Husbandry Study Programme had facilitated the UMC and UNWIKU student exchange programme smoothly and completely, and moved quickly to follow up the sustainability of the collaboration by sending guest lecturers.
