University of Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) - starting the year 2025, received a Campus Tour visit of 51 students and teachers from SMA Muhammadiyah Kutoarjo, Purworejo on Thursday, 9 January 2025 in Lecture Room B East Campus. Present at this visit were Class XII students, teachers of SMA Muhammadiyah Kutoarjo Purworejo, and also from the Muhammadiyah Kutoarjo Branch. The guests were received directly by the Rector of UMPWR Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teguh Wibowo, M.Pd., and also the Head of Bureau of Student Affairs, Promotion, and PMB, Ir. Didik Widiyantono, M.Agr.
Also attending the campus tour were two UMPWR students who are alumni of SMA Muhammadiyah Kutoarjo. This Campus Tour was held with the aim of introducing facilities, study programmes, and campus services at UMPWR. Ir. Didik Widiyantono, M.Agr., on this occasion explained about the various scholarships available at UMPWR, such as the KIP-K scholarship, Prestasi, Lazimu, Kader, Tahfidz Qur'an, and many more. Ir. Didik also talked about tips for graduating at UMPWR without a thesis. The procedure for registering scholarships at UMPWR was explained by PMB Staff, Ahmad Komarudin, S.Pd..
UMPWR Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr Teguh Wibowo, M.Pd., in his speech said that currently UMPWR is the Top 10 Best Campus in Central Java. In addition, UMPWR is currently the Private Campus with the largest number of KIP-College recipients in Central Java with 1411 students.
On this occasion the students of SMA Muhammadiyah Kutoarjo were also invited to tour the UMPWR central campus. (akb / KP).
