Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) - as many as 39 students and 10 accompanying teachers of Sudirman Islamic High School Kaliangkrik Magelang Regency visited on Thursday, 19 December 2024. Received by the UMPWR Student Affairs Department in the UMPWR East Campus Seminar Room, this campus tour aims to motivate students about the importance of continuing their education to college, especially to choose UMPWR.
Basuki, M.Pd.B.I. as Head of Student Welfare and PMB opened the first speech and welcomed the visit from SMA Islam Sudirman Kaliangkrik. Meanwhile, the Head of SMA Islam Sudirman Kaliangkrik Lutfiyani, S.Sos., expressed his gratitude to UMPWR for welcoming the visit from the school. She hoped that the campus visit could motivate the students to continue their education to higher level.
Ir. Didik Widiyantono, M.Agr., as the Head of the Bureau of Student Affairs, Promotion and PMB delivered a presentation related to the profile of UMPWR, available scholarships and several activities that can be followed while studying. Ir. Didik motivated the students to be patient for 3.5 to 4 years to study and get a bachelor's degree in order to increase the chances of having a better quality of life. He also advised them to be active students and participate in positive activities, such as participating in several national Student Grants to gain experience and achievements. (akbar/KP)
