Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) - the UMPWR Independent Entrepreneurship Programme (WMK) team harvested awards at the WMK UGM 2024 event. The UMPWR WMK team participated in the WMK UGM 2024 event, which had started on 24 September 2024. A total of 43 UMPWR students participated in the event. The field supervisors (DPL) of the students are UMPWR professional lecturers including Isna Windani, S.P., M.Sc. (Koordinator), Istiko Agus Wicaksono, M.Sc., Dyah Panuntun Utami, S.P., M. Sc., and Susi Widjajani, S.E., M.Si.

WMK is a programme from the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology that provides opportunities for students to learn and develop themselves into future entrepreneurs. The peak event of WMK UGM 2024 was held for 2 days on 10 - 11 December 2024 at Gelanggang Inovasi dan Kreativitas (GIK) UGM with various series of events such as creative product demos, pitching with investors, student poster exhibitions, entrepreneurship workshops, guest star performances and appreciation of independent entrepreneurs. In this peak event, UMPWR received 2 awards at once, namely Istiko Agus Wicaksono, M.Sc was named the most disciplined DPL, and UMPWR as the Best College in this WMK UGM 2024 event.
The WMK UGM 2024 event was symbolically closed by Dr Hempri Suyatna, S.Sos, M.Si as Secretary of the Directorate of Student Affairs UGM. In his closing remarks he congratulated the recipients of appreciation and thanked the students participating in WMK UGM, DPL, and partners involved in this activity. (akbar / KP)
