In order to implement the mandate of Law Number 19 of 2019 on the Second Amendment to Law Number 30 of 2002 on the Corruption Eradication Commission in Article 7, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has the authority to organise anti-corruption education in every educational network. In 2023, KPK launched the National Strategy and Guideline for Anticorruption Education (PAK), which includes 2 main strategies in implementing PAK, namely internalising integrity values to students, and creating integrity in the education ecosystem. One of the programmes of the KPK Education Network Directorate in 2024 is to monitor and evaluate the implementation of PAK, including the implementation of PAK by education units in higher education. Monitoring and evaluation are conducted mainly on the integration of PAK in the curriculum or learning in education units. Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) is one of the universities that has implemented PAK material inserts in Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan courses since 2015 - 2022, so KPK conducted a discussion on the implementation of PAK in Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo, especially the integration of PAK in courses.

The discussion was held on Tuesday, 26 November 2024 in the afternoon at the UMPWR Main Meeting Room. Present at this activity from the Directorate of KPK Education Network Siti Maharani, Sari Angraeni, and Rani. From UMPWR were Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs Dr. Dwi Irawati, S.E., M.Si., Vice Rector IV for Cooperation and AIK Dr. Tusino, M.Pd.B.I., Head of the Institute for the Study, Deepening, Practicing of Islam and Muhammadiyah (AIK) H. Nasrudin, M.S.I., and all AIK lecturers at UMPWR.

Vice Rector I of UMPWR, Dr Dwi Irawati, S.E., M.Si., in her speech welcomed the team from the Directorate of Education Network of KPK to UMPWR. WR I hopes that the KPK team will feel at home and can continue with cooperation in the field of education related to anti-corruption. ‘Anti-corruption education can be integrated into related courses. Not only with AIK’, he explained. UMPWR will also organise an OBE (Outcome Based Education) based curriculum workshop that allows for the integration of PAK in several courses.

Head of LP3AK UMPWR H. Nasrudin, M.S.I., explained that PAK in AIK has been started since 2015, where at UMPWR the AIK course is held in every semester from semester 1 to 8. ‘PAK is inserted in every AIK course in each semester,’ he explained.

From the KPK, Siti Maharani said that currently the PAK evaluation is carried out nationally. PAK is a paradigm so it can be included in any course. PAK is not limited to being integrated in Civics and Citizenship Education courses but can also be in all subjects. In this case, UMPWR is a campus that can also integrate PAK in courses other than Civics and Citizenship Education, namely in AIK courses. Siti Maharani hoped that with this discussion, the KPK team could get many things that could become KPK materials for the future progress of PAK.

Furthermore, the discussion activities were continued with the presentation of PAK in AIK learning at UMPWR by one of the LP3AK lecturers, Iyus Herdiana Saputra, M.S.I., and also the team. (akbar / KP).
