Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) - as one of the recipients of the 2024 Revitalisation of Educational Institutions for Educational Personnel (LPTK) Grant, was held Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) by the Ministry of Education Culture Research and Technology on Thursday, 21 November 2024. Located on the UMPWR campus, the LPTK Revitalisation Team was Ika Lestari from Universitas Negeri Jakarta, along with Ari Fitria (Director General of Kemendikbudristek), Miftahul Jannah (Directorate of Institutions), Bagus Aryono (Directorate of Institutions), and Yusuf Indra (Setditjen Diktiristek).
The main purpose of the Monev was to evaluate and review the implementation of the LPTK revitalisation programme at UMPWR, ensure that the LPTK at UMPWR are able to implement the programme optimally, and discuss various challenges that may be faced by the LPTK at UMPWR in the revitalisation process.
In his remarks, UMPWR Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teguh Wibowo, M.Pd., expressed his gratitude that this year UMPWR succeeded in obtaining the LPTK Revitalisation grant. The Rector explained that PPG at UMPWR has been running since 2022.
Miftahul Jannah from the Directorate of Institutionalisation of the Ministry of Education and Culture also congratulated UMPWR for successfully qualifying as a recipient of the 2024 LPTK Revitalisation Grant. This is the first time for private universities. Miftahul Jannah also said that one of the stages of the LPTK Revitalisation Grant is Monev. This is because the funds used come from the state budget. In addition to Monev, obstacles faced by LPTK UMPWR will also be identified. (akbar / KP)
