Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) - The Master of English Education Study Program faced an Accreditation Field Assessment from the Educational Self-Accreditation Agency (LAMDIK) for two days on Thursday - Friday, 21 - 22 November 2024. Located at the UMPWR Campus, the LAMDIK Assessors who attended were Prof. Dr. Herlina, M.Pd. from Jakarta State University and Dr. Fahriany, M.Pd., from Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University.
Present at the opening of the Field Assessment were the Chairman of the UMPWR Daily Board of Trustees Drs. Hamidi, M.Pd., UMPWR Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teguh Wibowo, M.Pd., all Vice Chancellors, Vice Deans of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education UMPWR, Head of the Master of English Study Program Dr. Sudar, M.Pd., all lecturers and staff of the Master of English Study Program, and several representatives of related units.
In his remarks, the Chairman of BPH UMPWR Drs. Muh. Hamidi, M.Pd., said that the Master of English Education is still quite young, starting in 2022, but currently has graduated 3 students with an encouraging GPA of Summa Cumlaude 4.00 with an average graduate GPA of 3.98. Drs Hamidi hopes that this accreditation can bring benefits to the UMPWR family.
‘Congratulations on working, with the hope that Master of English Education will get the best results’, he hoped.
In line with that, the Rector of UMPWR Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teguh Wibowo, M.Pd also hopes that the accreditation of UMPWR Master of English Education can get optimal and maximum results. The Rector said that the achievements of the UMPWR Master of English Education were quite good, such as 5 lecturers who already had the academic title of Head Lecturer, and were in the process of heading to Professor. ‘S1 English Education is currently excellent, hopefully the Masters will also follow soon’, hoped the Rector of UMPWR.
