Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) - The Interest and Talent Division of the Physics Education Study Program Student Association (HIMA) held a Socialisation of the Student Creativity Program (PKM) entitled NGOPIKM with the theme ‘Developing soft skills and hard skills of students through “PKM” for a more competitive future’. The activity which was held on Tuesday, 14 November 2024 at the UMPWR East Campus Seminar Room was attended by all Physics Education Study Program students from semester 1 as many as 7 people, semester 3 as many as 4 people, semester 5 as many as 10 people and semester 7 as many as 5 people.
NGOPIKM is an initial activity as a place to socialise the importance of PKM as well as hearings between students and Study Programs regarding Study Program policies towards student activities, one of which is PKM. It is hoped that with this activity all students of the UMPWR Physics Education Study Programme can be motivated to take part in PKM and other student activities and foster a creative spirit and create innovative products.
The speakers at this NGOPIKM were the Head of Physics Education Study Program Dr. Arif Maftukhin, M.Pd., and lecturer of Management Study Program Susi Widjajani, S.E, M.Si. Both explained in detail and thoroughly about what PKM is, the types, PKM that are suitable for scientific fields, and guidelines for writing good and correct PKM proposals. (akbar/KP)
