Through the scheme of the Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK Ormawa), UKM Science and Technology (Saintek) Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) attended Abdidaya Ormawa 2024 at Udayana University, Bali. The success of UKM Saintek in raising the issue of an entrepreneurial village in Guntur village, Bener District, Purworejo made them qualify for this event again.
We raised the issue of the impact of the Bener Dam which made people change their livelihoods who were previously land cultivators, now become laborers on the project, if the project is completed then what will they do. We offer the concept of an entrepreneurial village as a solution as well as village preparation in welcoming the dam, said Rifai as chairman of UKM Saintek.
Present at the Abdidaya event were 3 students, namely as team representatives as many as 2 people, 1 head of ormawa. Also present were the Heads of Higher Education and lecturers accompanying the program. Abdidaya Ormawa 2024 was attended by 160 ormawa from 66 universities throughout Indonesia from November 7-9 at Udayana University, Bali.
