Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) – Another achievement has been added to the list of accomplishments by students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR). After previously winning 2nd Place in the Campus Indie Film Competition, Annie Nurfaticha, a Management student at UMPWR, has once again achieved recognition in a competition organized by PUSPRESMA PTMA in collaboration with Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro (UM Metro).

This time, Annie won the Favorite Award for Best Design in the Poster Design Competition (AI and Non-AI). The achievement reflects the continued growth of UMPWR students’ creativity and their ability to compete in competitions at the national PTMA level.

The competition was held as a platform for students to develop their creativity through educational, inspiring, and original social campaign poster designs. Beyond encouraging students to turn ideas into visual works, the competition also aimed to raise awareness of various social issues and encourage students to communicate positive messages through digital media.

The competition was conducted online through several stages. Participants submitted their works from July 27 to September 20, 2026, followed by an assessment process by the judging panel from September 21 to 25, 2026. The winners were announced on September 30, 2026.

Annie participated individually in the Non-AI Poster category. Her work was assessed based on several aspects, including creativity, campaign messaging, design quality, and originality.

For Annie, the award represents more than just an achievement in a competition. She hopes that her work can contribute to delivering positive social messages while encouraging other students to confidently express their ideas and creativity.

“This award shows that creative works developed through ideas, perseverance, and social awareness can create a positive impact. I hope this work can inspire other students to keep creating and contributing through their creativity,” Annie said.

UMPWR Vice Rector III for Student Affairs, Dr. Budi Setiawan, S.Sos., M.Si., expressed his appreciation for Annie’s latest achievement. He said the accomplishment demonstrates how opportunities to develop students’ interests and talents can produce works that are not only creative but also carry meaningful messages and reflect social awareness.

“Annie’s achievement shows that student creativity can be a powerful way to convey ideas and positive messages to the community. We certainly appreciate this accomplishment and hope that more UMPWR students will have the courage to take part in various competitions, try new things, and see every work they create as part of their learning and growth process,” he said.

Annie’s latest achievement adds to the growing list of UMPWR student accomplishments at the national level. The university continues to encourage students to actively develop their potential through both academic and non-academic activities, allowing their creativity, experience, and achievements to grow throughout their university journey.
