Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) – The 2026 Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus bagi Mahasiswa Baru (PPKKMB) and Masa Taaruf (Masta) programs at Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) reached their final day on Wednesday (September 16, 2026). Before the programs were officially concluded, new students received a number of sessions designed to provide them with useful knowledge and insights for their journey as university students.
On the third day, new students were introduced to the world of entrepreneurship through a session delivered by Riza Azyumarridha Azra, CEO and Founder of PT Rumah Moqaf Indonesia. The session was part of UMPWR’s efforts to equip students not only with academic knowledge, but also with the insight and confidence to explore their potential in entrepreneurship.
In addition to entrepreneurship, the students attended a session on Preventing and Handling Violence in Higher Education, delivered by Fairuzatul Hakimah Alamsyah, M.Psi., a psychologist. The session provided students with an understanding of the importance of creating a safe, comfortable, and respectful campus environment.
Meanwhile, the student affairs session was delivered by the Head of the Bureau of Student Affairs, Promotion, and New Student Admissions (PMB) at UMPWR, Dr. Hermawan, M.Pd.I. Through this session, new students were introduced more closely to various aspects of student life during their studies at UMPWR.

The final day was not all about classroom sessions. The atmosphere became even more lively with performances by various Student Activity Units (UKM) at UMPWR. The new students had the opportunity to see firsthand the activities and opportunities available for them to develop their interests and talents beyond academic life.
Adding to the excitement, UMPWR also held an UKM on Stage Stand session. Through this session, various UKMs opened opportunities for new students who were interested in joining and developing their interests and talents. This allowed students not only to learn about the UKMs through their stage performances, but also to interact directly with their members and find out more about their activities.
The final day also marked the conclusion of the entire PPKKMB and Masta UMPWR 2026 series. After completing and passing all of the activities, the new students were officially prepared to be inducted as UMPWR students.
The induction was led by UMPWR Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teguh Wibowo, M.Pd., together with Vice Rector III for Student Affairs, Dr. Budi Setiawan, S.Sos., M.Si. The ceremony took place before the PPKKMB and Masta UMPWR 2026 programs were officially closed by the Rector.
With the completion of the programs, new students are expected to become more familiar with the campus environment, understand student life, and be ready to begin their academic journey at UMPWR. PPKKMB and Masta are not simply welcoming programs, but also serve as an initial step for students to get to know their university and prepare themselves to become part of the UMPWR community.
