Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR) – Have a business idea inspired by local potential? This is the time to take it beyond an idea. As part of the celebration of the 62nd Anniversary of Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (UMPWR), the Muhammadiyah Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Incubator (MCEBI) UMPWR is organizing the 2026 National Business Plan Competition.
Carrying the theme “Explore Local Potential, Create an Impact for a Sustainable Indonesia,” the competition provides a space for students with business ideas to turn their concepts into well-developed business plans with value and real-world impact.
This year’s competition features four categories: Food Innovation, Agri & Sustainable Business, Creative Industry & Tourism, and Digital Innovation & Technology.
The four categories give participants plenty of room to explore the potential around them. Ideas can range from food and products made from local ingredients, sustainable agricultural solutions, and tourism initiatives based on culture and local wisdom, to the use of digital technology to address community needs.
Registration and submission of works are open from August 20 to September 30, 2026. Participants can join the competition by preparing a business plan based on their chosen category and following the guidelines provided by the committee.
The competition also offers prizes for each category. First Place will receive Rp1,000,000 and a certificate, Second Place Rp750,000 and a certificate, and Third Place Rp500,000 and a certificate. In addition, Honorable Mentions 1–3 will receive certificates.
